Privacy Policy

At Once, everything is built around trust. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices your family has.

Last updated: July 2026

  1. What we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account — such as your name and email — along with the reading sessions your family creates and the invites shared between children and grandparents. We also record basic technical data needed to run and protect the service.

  2. How we use your data

We use your data to run reading sessions, sync the page and voice between family members, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

  3. Children's privacy

Children's accounts are managed by a parent and are only visible inside the family they were created for. We never ask children for information beyond what a session needs, and a parent can review or delete their children's data at any time.

  4. Voice recordings

Grandparents’ readings and voice samples may be recorded to power read-aloud features. These recordings are stored securely within the family and can be deleted from settings at any time.

  5. Sharing and disclosure

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform under confidentiality obligations, or where legally required. Family data stays within the scope of that family.

  6. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data, request a copy, or close your account. Contact us and we will respond promptly.

  7. Contact us
